I Spoiled Myself: Butter London nail Lacquer

I recently subscribed to purchase IPsy beauty bags (link below) and it was amazing! I was very impressed with the  September Glam bag I was sent, but disappointed I didn't get a Butter London nail Lacquer. So I Clicked a Link and used a promo code they gave me and Wha-La i could buy 3 way cheaper than if they were regularly priced!

I got 3 colors all super cute and perfect in my opinion.

Cream Tea

Saucy Jack

La Moss

La Moss is my favorite color, its described as a "A vampy deep, dark red nail lacquer full of red wine, just like its inspiration."  That quote is exactly from the website. But I had no other way of describing it, the websites description was to perfect. Sense its October its perfect for dressing up or wearing for the fall. After my previous Blog post about October and Movies/T.V. I have felt so perfect wearing this color, its lasted about a little over a week. It chipped a little it still looks really cool. Makes the hole nail look ragged and edgy.

After wearing Sausy Jack on my fingers and toes for at least a week I've come to love the color of its bright red. At first it was to overly red for me, I thought it would suit Christmas or holiday. But the color grew on me, and it held up really nicely on my toes. Great product and a very elegant color.

Cream tea is a creamy color obviously, but defiantly thick. I only had to use 2 coats where as I had to use 4-5 coats with Saucy Jack and La Moss. After wearing Cream Tea for a few days, I noticed it had a slight pink tint in its color. I noticed it while driving one day and my nails looked amazing. I probably looked like a freak examining my nails in my car, but could you not look at something pretty and pink. I realize this makes me seem like a huge girly girl, but I assure you I'm into more than just girly things.

I spoiled myself with the discount and the brand. But I adored Butter London before so my purchases seemed reasonable enough. I really recommend checking out IPsy.com link below, because they are always having great deals and discounts. Not to mention their products are amazing! They really try to get the best stuff, and test it themselfs, if they don't like it, they won't put it in a glam bag. Which means whoever orders the bag gets the best stuff. I'm not endorsed by them or am getting paid for writing this blog post, I genuinely love it and want to share.

I'll be writing soon!
I'm not endorsed by anyone, by the band Butter London, or IPsy

If you know of any other Butter London nail Lacquers that are amazing please let me know. Thanks :)

October is coming, Movies & T.V.

As most people realize its almost October, this just so happens to be my favorite month of the year. I usually don't like scary things in my life, in fact I try to keep everything like that out of life any other time of the year. I'm a big scaredy cat. But during October I let little bits of scariness into my life, feeling ok. I love "fake" haunted houses and "fake" costumes. Emphasis on the fake. Only because I know it's not really that frightening. Everyone enjoys Halloween, the food, the smells, all of it is so wonderful.

I've recently been watching a bit of tv/movies, some old classics others kinda new. A few are "Hocus Pocus" & "Vampire Diary's." You can watch Vampire Diary's on netflix, where as i ordered Hocus Pocus off Amazon.

I watched Hocus Pocus with my younger brother at night on a school night for him, while eating ice cream. Which i know isnt responsible, but we only stayed up till 9:40pm. He said he thought the movie was so stupid, saying things like "of course the cat can't die, 9 life's" or "wouldn't they know about that stuff, don't have to make it obvious." Which made me laugh because when I was his age watching that movie I used to think OMG OMG OMG!!! But now it's like a blast from the past. It's such a cute feel good movie, hardly even scary now. But I still think everyone has the right to see it. I personally got it on DVD from amazon, and recommend it to everyone.

Now on to the Vampire Diary's. I recently started watching it thinking it was just going to be a lame tv series, but I'm hooked. I do feel kinda lame for liking it, but it has interesting parts. I'm not that far into it yet (I won't say how far) but enjoying none the less. Because I haven't been watching for that long I don't have specific details. I also don't think I'll be a die hard fan about it either though. It's good but not great, I like it but don't love it (yet). I can say I've woken other members of my house hold with the louder scary parts. They came in and were confused as to why I was even watching something scary, saying "we don't watch scary in this house iris, why?" Haha I had woken them up, and made them think someone scary was in the house.

I know these things seem minor fear movies/tv shows compare to SAW or paranormal activity. But to some people (when I mean some people I mean me) they get really frightened and very easily. At the same time I'm not some prissy little girl who can't take care of herself either,I am still one those girls that carries around pepper spray!

So there is a peak into my life, scaredy cat Iris can't watch SAW or Paranormal Activity, but loves cheesy movies/shows like Vampire Diary's and Hocus Pocus.

I'll also try to stay more consistent with writing my this blog, just been busy working and being with my family. Life as an adult isn't all that easy but it's good to get a break and watch some tv. Have a lovely October, talk to you soon.

Again I'm not sponsored by anymore. I just really like this movie and show. Thanks for reading if you read all the way threw. Enjoy October
